Year 2 optional SATs

From 2024, there is no longer a statutory expectation that schools will have SATs in Year 2.

However, schools may choose to do 'optional SATs' as part of their assessments across school.

 

Our school has done these optional tests because we also do them in Years 3-5.

We use them to validate the accuracy of our teacher assessment judgements.
