At Balshaw Lane, we have always aimed to offer a vibrant, progressive curriculum in a happy environment.
Whilst we aim for high academic standards, test results are not our sole purpose.
We want our pupils to leave school feeling confident, with a strong desire for life-long learning.
KS2 Results 2023
Our results are again above the EXS+ national averages in Reading, Writing, Maths, Combined RWM and GPS.
Our high results for Reading at EXS, and at the Higher Standard, indicate our children's love of reading and our fantastic reading culture at Balshaw Lane.
The children's attainment at the Higher Standard/Greater Depth in Reading, Writing and Combined RWM is above national averages.
