EYFS Curriculum Intent
The early years curriculum at Balshaw Lane aims to create a learning environment that will support, enhance and invite a child’s curiosity and confidence regardless of background, circumstances or additional needs.
We build strong, positive relationships with all our children and work collaboratively with parents and carers to encourage independent, enthusiastic learners who thrive and reach their full potential whilst feeling safe and happy.
It is our intent that children who enter our EYFS setting begin their journey by developing a life-long love of learning.
Alongside a purposeful and carefully planned curriculum, we also follow the personal interests and needs of our children which allows the children to flourish.
